Welcome to La Ladakh. By booking a tour, hotel accommodation, or travel service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before confirming your reservation.

Booking & Payment Confirmation

  • Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a 50% non-refundable deposit of the total trip cost.
  • Guests are strongly advised to make the deposit promptly to secure their reservation, driver allocations, and hotel bookings.
  • The remaining balance must be cleared as per the agreed schedule, either before the tour begins or at the time of arrival.

Voucher Presentation

  • Bookings and reservations will be honoured at partner hotels, camps, and transport services only upon presentation of an official confirmed voucher issued by La Ladakh.
  • Guests must present the physical or digital voucher at check-in to avoid any inconvenience or delay.

Check-In & Check-Out Policies

  • Hotel and camp check-in and check-out times are set by each property’s own operational policies.
  • Requests for early check-in or late check-out are subject to room availability on the day of travel.
  • Additional charges may apply for early check-in or late check-out, as determined by the specific hotel or resort.

Itinerary Modifications & Unforeseen Events

  • The itinerary may be modified, altered, or rerouted at any point due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
    • Force majeure events — natural disasters, landslides, extreme high-altitude weather, flash floods, or pandemics.
    • Road blockages and pass closures — such as Khardung La, Chang La, or Zoji La.
    • Local disruptions — strikes, rallies, sudden government restrictions, or VIP movement.
    • Travel delays — traffic jams, overbooking of hotels, or flight delays and cancellations.
    • Restricted access — closure or restricted entry at specific tourist locations or border zones.
  • In such cases, our team will make reasonable efforts to arrange suitable alternative routes, accommodation, or activities.
Please note La Ladakh will not be held liable for any extra expenses, refunds, or compensation claims arising from unannounced schedule changes or weather-induced delays. Any additional expense incurred due to natural hazards — such as extra nights or additional vehicle hire — shall be borne directly by the guest.

Hotel Standards & Property Comparisons

  • Guests are advised not to compare the star ratings and amenities of hotels, guest houses, or luxury camps in remote high-altitude regions — such as Leh, Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso, or Hanle — with standard business hotels in metropolitan cities.
  • Ratings, amenities, electricity timings, hot water availability, and service standards vary with regional infrastructure, ecological considerations, and high-altitude geographical conditions.
